This package is perfect for parents who want to capture natural, candid moments of their newborn and family in their home or in a setting that feels personal and intimate. Often we will take photos in the nursery, living room, or parents' bedroom.&nbsp; What does a lifestyle newborn session look like?My goal is to capture the emotional connection between your newborn and family, capturing the essence of your family’s life at a very special time in a realistic and heartwarming way. It is less about getting the perfect post and more about capturing the connection, emotions, and beauty of your family’s everyday life. If you are looking for extremely posed and retouched images, this package will not be a great fit for you. When should we schedule newborn photos?Newborn photos are often captured 2 - 3 weeks after your little one is born, capturing them at their smallest and sleepiest. Please reach out as soon as possible to book your newborn photos. I only accept a number of newborns each month as the timing of the shoot is unpredictable and I want to ensure I have availability when your little one arrives.&nbsp; How much time do we need to capture all the shots?Newborn sessions can take up to two hours of photography to ensure we can capture photos of your little one sleepy and cuddly between feedings. Whether you’re having a brunch wedding or hosting your ceremony at your favourite wine bar, this package is perfect for smaller weddings (50 guests or less). 4 hours of photography is perfect for capturing the heart of your wedding day from ceremony until dinner reception &amp; speeches.&nbsp; While every wedding day is different, these are the moments we will typically cover over the course of the day:<ul><li>Ceremony candids &amp; details</li><li>Formal group photos with your family &amp; wedding party</li><li>Cocktail hour candids and guest portraits</li><li>Reception details</li><li>Speeches &amp; reception candids</li></ul> As a wedding photographer, it is my goal to elevate your wedding day experience. I will help you to create a photo timeline that doesn’t feel rushed, and really allows you to have a great time and not feel like your wedding day has turned into a photo shoot. (If you feel you need more than 4 hours, extra hours can be added on at $300 / hour.) I know how excited you are to get your photos back after your big day so, within 3 days of your wedding you will receive a gallery with some preview images that you can share with your friends and family! Deluxe Wedding Collection (10 Hours)

First of all, I would be elated to capture your intimate wedding. These are some of my favourite weddings to photograph, where it's just the two of you and your closest friends and family. You may not like being in front of the camera and that is completely normal! I’m here to give you as much or as little guidance as needed, helping you to feel comfortable and confident capturing such a big moment in you life. While everyone's wedding day is different, this is how my DTK Chapel weddings will often look: We'll meet at the DTK chapel before your ceremony starts to say hello to you and your guests and your officiant (I highly recommend Jeff Maeck or Martti Pajunen). Once the ceremony begins, I'll be sure to get lots of photos of you and your guests to fully document this once in a lifetime occasion. After the ceremony we will take some group photos of you and your guests. Depending on your group size and the weather, this can take place inside of the DTK Chapel or we can walk over to Victoria Park. To ensure we get all of the combinations of photos you are looking for, I will work with you before your wedding day to put together a photo list of all the group shots :) Once we are finished our photos with friends &amp; family, we will sneak away to take photos of just the two of you! Some really popular locations to take photos are outside of the DTK Chapel, at Goudies Lane, Gaukel Block, along King Street, and of course at Victoria Park! This ends our coverage for the day and you can head off to go and celebrate with all of your loved ones! You will receive some preview photos from me within 3 days of your wedding, then you can expect your full gallery within 3 weeks of your wedding! Downtown Kitchener Elopement Photography (2hrs)

I would be thrilled to capture your intimate wedding at Waterloo City Hall. City Hall weddings are some of my favourite ceremonies to photograph, where it's just you and your closest friends and family. You may not like being in front of the camera and that is completely normal! I'll be sure to get lots of photos of you and your guests throughout the ceremony to fully document this once in a lifetime occasion. After the ceremony we will take some group photos of you and your guests. Depending on your group size and the weather, this can take place inside of City Hall or we can walk / drive over to Waterloo Park. To ensure we get all of the combinations of photos you are looking for, I will communicate with you before your wedding day to put together a photo list of all the group shots you want captured :) Once we are finished taking photos of you and your guests, we will sneak away to take photos of just the two of you! Some really popular locations to take photos are right outside of Waterloo City Hall, Waterloo Park and Uptown Waterloo. You will receive some preview photos from me within 3 days of your wedding, then you can expect to receive your full gallery within 3 weeks of your wedding! This package is perfect for capturing your engagement photos and your full wedding day from getting ready, until the end of speeches and the opening of the dance floor. Engagement photos are a great way for us to get to know each other and help you get comfortable in front of my camera before your wedding day! Plan your engagement photos like a date night, let me know what activities you love doing together and we can try and incorporate it into your shoot (e.g., Is there a favourite restaurant you always go to? A park you like to visit?) For your wedding day coverage, nine hours of wedding photography coverage gives you time not only to get all the photos with your friends and family, but also to really enjoy your wedding day. As a wedding photographer, it is my goal to elevate your wedding day experience. I will help you to create a photo timeline that doesn’t feel rushed, and really allows you to have a great time and not feel like your wedding day has turned into a photo shoot. Dana &amp; Grant had the perfect Waterloo City Hall elopement this past October. The moment they walked into City Hall you could feel their giddiness that the day was here and they were going to marry each other. Their family members were the absolute sweetest, bringing boutonieres and a bouquet for Dana, making the day that much more special.

It's always such an honour to photograph elopements, being welcomed into such an intimate ceremony reserved for the couples closest circle of friends and family.

After reciting their vows and signing their marriage certificate, Dana, Grant, and their family headed over to Waterloo Park for some family and couples portraits.

Some might be discouraged by rain on their wedding day, but Dana &amp; Grant were the sunshine to a cloudy day. With the biggest smiles on their faces and umbrellas in hand, no day could have been more perfect than this rainy fall day.

When Katie &amp; Stefan reached out to me to document their wedding, I was ecstatic. I shot Stefan's brother and sister-in-law; <a title="Rhys &amp; Rachael's Wedding" href="https://www.nathaliemonique.com/blog-posts/rachael-rhys-wedding" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rhys &amp; Rachael's wedding</a> last summer, and I was pumped to be partying with the Eylotte family again this summer!

Stefan &amp; Katie had a beautiful September wedding at <a title="Cherryvale Weddings" href="https://www.cherryvaleweddings.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cherryvale Weddings</a>, nestled in the heart of Prince Edward County. There's nothing quite like a September wedding - the temperature is perfect, the lighting is divine (truly a photographer's dream), and guests are excited to attend an event as all their summer activities are winding down.

I don't know if I've ever been as excited as I was rolling up to the Cherryvale Weddings venue. As we arrived, we were greeted by a field of fluffy alpacas and the venue's two very friendly dogs - we learned that their names were Echo and Otis. (Like, how cute??) Walking in, the venue was full of activity. The florists from <a title="Stemz Toronto" href="https://www.instagram.com/stemzflowers/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stemz Toronto</a> were meticulously building the floral ceremony arch, and setting up the reception tent (I don't even think this counts as a tent, it's a gorgeous extension of the venue) with a stunning blend of pink and red florals.

The main building at Cherryvale Weddings was the epitome of rustic elegance and served as the perfect backdrop for Katie and Stefan to get ready for their big day. The warm September sunlight streaming through the windows provided just the right kind of natural lighting that we needed to capture those candid moments getting ready.

The ceremony was beautiful. Katie &amp; Stefan opted not to do a first look and instead met down the aisle. Katie was truly a VISION. She wore the most stunning gown from <a title="Chic Bridals Toronto" href="https://www.chicbridals.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chic Bridals Toronto</a> and a cathedral length veil. Stefan &amp; Katie's daughter wore a matching dress made from the same fabric as Katie's dress... It can't get any cuter than that. After Katie &amp; Stefan tied the knot, guests were handed a glass of bubbly as they exited the ceremony and a toast was made to the newlyweds.

While every aspect of the day was perfection, the icing on the cake was golden hour. As the sun began to set, the September glow gave the venue an ethereal charm. We seized this opportunity and took Katie and Stefan for a walk through the beautiful gardens of Cherryvale. The soft glow of the setting sun, the shadow play, and the vibrant colors of the sky provided a breathtaking backdrop for the most gorgeous portraits. We wrapped up the photoshoot in the nearby fields which offered us the most spectacular sunset view we had seen all summer.

The day ended with a night full of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories. (As I said earlier, this group knows how to throw a party). We can't help but feel grateful for being a part of Katie and Stefan's perfect day at Cherryvale Weddings. We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness.

Cherryvale Weddings: Katie and Stefan's Gorgeous September Wedding

It's been a really rainy summer here in Kitchener-Waterloo, so trying to book a golden hour engagement session with Caleb &amp; Paige was proving to be difficult. After trying to work around the weather, Paige sent me an email reading "If it starts raining, maybe that could be fun." I knew then and there that Caleb &amp; Paige were my people. I was SO down for a cute rainy session.

The day of the shoot, the forecast predicted a 70% chance of rain. Still, we decided to take a chance and hope for the best, knowing we could always reschedule if the weather didn't cooperate (e.g., torrential downpour instead of a romantic light shower). As we arrived at the park, ominous dark clouds loomed overhead, making me question our decision. However, as if by some miracle, the clouds rolled past us without a single drop of rain, leaving behind one of the most breathtaking sunsets I&rsquo;ve ever seen. (With that luck, I probably should have bought a lottery ticket that night haha.)

We found ourselves alone in the park, everyone had already evacuated given the risk of thunderstorms. Bathed in the most beautiful golden light, we had the perfect night for our engagement session. The result was beyond anything we could have imagined, making that evening one of the most memorable this summer here in KW.
