Natalia & Ben's Cozy Fall Engagement Session in Downtown Kitchener, Ontario

Engagement sessions are one of my favourite ways to get to know my couples before their wedding day! Not only do we get to know each other better, but my couples also get a feel for being in front of my camera before their big day.

Natalia and Ben came to me asking for hygge vibes - a cozy, relaxed, and comfortable setting. Think cozy coffee shops, fall colours, warm sunsets and comfortable clothes. We decided that starting at Balzac's Coffee Shop (one of my favourite coffee stops in Kitchener) then heading to Victoria Park, where all the fall leaves were showing, would be the perfect setting.

After finishing our coffees, we made our way over to Victoria Park where we were met with the most stunning fall sunset. The old city hall clock tower, the stunning fall colours and the remaining summer blooms made for the most picturesque backdrop for Natalia & Ben's engagement photos.

We ended the session after sunset at Gaukel Block. Now normally it feels like a crazy idea to shoot at night, but with all the gorgeous string lights lining the street it was the perfect setting for night photography. Natalia and Ben had expressed on a separate occasion how much they love twinkle lights, so this was truly just meant to be!

I cannot wait for Natalia and Ben's wedding next summer!
